Topic	Everyone knows what the best type is in Gen 1 Pokemon, right?
DarkRoast 02/22/22 6:08:26 PM #11:	Normal is legitimately the best type in Gen I, and is never a bad type to be given the relative rarity of Fighting Type moves. Tauros + Hyper Beam is so good it's stupid, especially since getting a KO skips the recharge turn. Although the biggest problem in Gen I is that Psychic has no hard counters, but that proves to only be an issue with Mewtwo and Alakazam, and in Alakazam's case, it's a combination of being extremely fast, being Psychic and Special impacting both SpA and SpD in that generation.
