I just beat it over the weekend. I liked it well enough, but had some minor issues.

As someone mentioned, the control scheme could use some tweaking. Running/shine sparking to get powerups is pretty bad and beam/missle/grappling is easy to screw up in the middle of a tough situation.

I also didn't care for it temporarily locking you out of some areas that you've been to. It manages to keep you better on the path of advancing, but sometimes I just want to go around and collect missles and stuff. I like exploring and getting somewhat lost. There's a map. I'll figure it out. It's much better than Fusion in this regard though.

Also, dumb gripe, but Samus is suffering a bit from upgrade bloat. There are points where it feels like you're picking up new abilities every 5-10 minutes.
