But usually 2-step thinking like that short-circuits fast food employees. To keep things simple for herself she should have just asked for the sausage to be kept 'on the side'. There is a reason these things have to be logged. Sure he could have just grabbed bacon from anywhere and done that, but he cant do that for every customer. Things cost more with certain items. They are told to do things a certain way. There shouldnt be any of this well you SHOULD be able to, because the company has already outlined how things SHOULD be done.
