Topic	So what are all the vegans gonna do if we discover that plants can feel pain?

I understand the abuses inherent in large, industrial farming operations, but if you source responsibly and locally, why aren't those aforementioned foods accepted as cruelty-free? For that matter, what about aging animals? Or culling animal populations?
