"Then, instead of telling the story, talk about the people in it," you suggest.

"What?"

"Instead of going through the whole thing, just tell me about the 'Toddler Titans' themselves."

"Oh, right. Like character profiles."

"Precisely."

"Okay then," she nods. "First, the three of them were siblings, one sister and two brothers. They're orphans who bounced around homes because of their superpowers, so no one knows their true origins. Let's start with... Teether. He was the youngest, and as his name suggests, he was just getting his first teeth in, so he had a pacifier. He loved chewing on just about anything, because he could actually chew about anything. He seems to have incredibly strong teeth and digestion."

"How did you find this out?"

"He was teething on benches and couch cushions," she says. "He can chew through anything, and he can even spit them out with some serious velocity. Teether was well-behaved aside from his teething, he seemed the most accepting of me at first, too. And though I'm not really for cute things, I'll admit Teether was cute."

"Aww," you say with a smile.

"Oh stop," she says as she gives you a playful punch in the shoulder. "The next oldest was Timmy Tantrum. As his name suggests, he was a bit bratty, but his power was hypersonic screaming and sonic blasts resulting from that. He can only do it when angry so it works with his tantrums. He was the real handful the entire time we were traveling.

"Oh that's the thing, we were having to travel the mountains, like the Swiss Alps maybe. It ended with me leaving them in the care of monks that the team managed to make contact with and could trust.

"Anyway," Raven says before taking a quick sip of orange juice. "The oldest and the only girl was Melvin."

"Melvin?" you ask.

"I know, an odd name but it's her name," she says.

"Well, yes, but I was thinking more on its origins. It was originally a surname, taken from Melville, of Scottish-Irish decent. Melville was derived from Malleville in Normandy, and so, if you were from Melville you were a Melvin."

"So, Melvin might actually be their last name? Melvin and Teether were both blonde and Timmy is a redhead so maybe they're Irish."

"Very possible," you say. "But please, continue with your character profile."

"Well, Melvin was the oldest but she was barely older than five when we met. I thought she was going through the imaginary friend phase because she kept talking going on about someone or something named 'Bobby'. Turns out Bobby was real, he was a giant teddy bear with super strength. Melvin's power is imagination manifestation, she imagined Bobby and made him real to be her friend and protector. But Bobby even had its own personality, it could turn invisible to help with its shyness, hence why I thought it was simply imaginary."

"Wow, what an impressive little trio," you say.

"Yeah, they really are," she says. "I really, really didn't want to do the mission once I learned I'd be dealing with children, but after getting through it all, I came to actually be okay with them and they were actually okay with me."

"How sweet," you say.

"Yeah," Raven smiles sweetly. "Every once in awhile they send letters to me to tell me how things have been, even though I gave them a communicator. I suppose it'd for the best though, their letters are so jumbled, I can't imagine how them trying to share the communicator video would go."

The two of you share a little laugh.
