The movie takes place in Italy, where the age of consent is 17. James Wood is a man who tried to pick up Amber Tamblyn, who was 16 at the time. Do you not see the what's wrong with Jame's Wood denouncement? Did you read my post? I never said he was right. I said it has nothing to do with being a conservative or anti gay. ...Uh, can you honestly sit there and say James Wood, a man notorious for his conservative values (don't believe me? Look up all that he espouses) isn't against this movie because it features a relationship between two males? I really doubt that if this movie had been a guy and a girl, he would have chimed in. He's probably using the age difference between the characters as a pretext to denounce the film for it's display of homosexuality. But of course he's not going to be explicit about it.
