So thank god I don't have children, but to be a model employee, I told my sister in law to bring my nephews in for a little while to see what I do at work on a day to day basis.

So they showed up with dumb little smiles on their face, saw me and yelled UNCLE (MABUS)!!

I pretended I didn't hear them, turned around and walked in the other direction, immediately regretting my decision to invite them. I finally acknowledged them and they asked me what I did at work. I replied "I work".

The lodge I manage has a gift shop, and some toys and whatnot, so they got their grubby hands all in the inventory like they have no idea what manners are. The oldest one picked up a toy airplane and held it up in joy and asked if he could have it. I told him sure, for $11.95 (it was really only $9.95 but ideal time to make a bit more profit on a gullible customer). He told me he didn't have the money for it and put it back on the shelf looking sad. I picked it up off the shelf, snapped the wing off and quickly handed it back to him before he noticed it was broken.

I looked at his mom and told her "We have a 'you break it, you buy it' policy in this store" and proceeded to tell her she had to pay for the broken plane. He cried, she looked at him all angry. She asked if she could at least get the employee discount on the item and I told her "you, or your kids don't work here, sorry."

Unbelievable.
