I don't think you're a racist, I don't know or care about you, but I do know that a lot of people use that line of thinking to explain why they are racist. If you're not one of them, good for you. You're better than most and likely an exception. No, my point is that I just don't care that it happened to you in the context of general discussion about racism. Your experience and any one like it is trivial. That isn't to say that I like it or that I condone it. I generally abhor violence and don't think anyone should be subject to that kind of thing.
