| GameofWheels 09/12/17 7:37:14 AM #25: | Because artists generally don't make as much money as a "regular job". Even in the past artists were looked down on unless you were exceptional. You can say that the hate is irrational all you want but if you're a blacksmith or an office worker or a coal miner or whatever you'd be upset too that a guy who does nothing but paint pictures all day was asking for money.
