I really don't get where that term comes from in the first place considering white people are more colorful. Almost every other race has black hair and brown eyes across the board but white people commonly have blue, green, gray, or hazel eyes and blonde, red, or brown hair in addition to those. I guess they saw white people like the whiteness of a canvas or piece of paper and everyone else was "colored in". I really have no idea.
