I forget exactly how, but it eventually unlocks the Bundles. These Bundles require you to turn in specific items which give you a reward. Each room in the center has multiple bundles; completing all bundles in a room gives a rather large reward. For example, one room gives you a free friendship boost with every character. --- ...
