This is what happens when people listen to ignorant dipshits with a megaphone instead of using their own brain to think critically. A category 4 hurricane is nothing to fuck around with. It's not just the constant rain, it's the wind that will rip the roof off of structures and the storm surge. Harvey fucked my county up and we just got the rain. I almost think criminal charges should be brought against broadcasters who downplay catastrophes like this to an audience that could easily die because of it. Agreed. I know one who's not leaving too even though I've done everything I can to express the gravity of the situation. Even the White House statement a few hours ago about "you'll be on your own at some point" got nothing. Said they're gonna pray... yea.. the way officials are talking about it is terrifying to me, I can't imagine staying lol Same. I'm not even in Florida so I can't talk but I talked with them on the phone for an hour today and it ended with, "we'll be fine"... Im with you.
