| ThyCorndog 09/08/17 10:39:03 AM #30: | No, but choosing not to understand that you're racist or to correct your racism after having it pointed out by others is a choice Most racism is ingrained in culture and upbringing, you don't pick it anymore than you pick up habits or your tastes in food or music. None of it is biologically wired, though, and you can choose to be a better person and not be racist when you understand your ingrained prejudices Or they could just be really fucking stupid and don't understand how they're being racist even after having it explained to them, in which it's not a choice either and that particular person is either a lost cause or needs extra help to understand --- ...
