I may have let season two and three skew my perception of her relationship to her mother, but her attitude toward her father is just unacceptable. And you start to feel pretty sympathetic for the dad when you realize how the mom and his daughter really act as you go through the seasons. He treats Shiela like crap and insults her for her phobia, then switches into a hypocritical religious fanatic whenever they turn it around on him.
