didnt the federal govt in nazi germany nationalize all the industries? isnt the government seizing the means of production kind of the whole point of the ideology
The people who are saying Nazis are socialist don't actually understand what socialism is. They just think socialism is bad so they tie one of the worse groups in history with socialism, because they had socialism in their name. This way they can pretend to be on the right side while being perfectly okay with the rising white nationalist and neo nazis in their party by saying at least they aren't socialist.

They didn't as far I'm aware of. They banned other political parties and had the goal of trying to fix Germany by getting rid undesirables. ---
