All of the professors I had for them were my absolute favorites. The real deal (at least the 1L gambit of classes) is a bit of a sober awakening in that the depth is greater and the minor details that undergrad classes would gloss over are suddenly very important. I can hardly do much math anymore. It wouldn't be bad if it all wasn't connected. My brain can't retain that much info chained like that. Yeah, it does get a bit annoying sometimes but that's also what I like about it in a way: it makes it easy to get the necessary foundation to start studying a field in mathematics. Yeah, I just mentally can't do it. Like, I could kick butt if it just wasn't chained. All course long in College Algebra, I aced everything. Got to the final? I never saw my test, but it had to be a 0. I zoned out as soon as the test came and had a nervous breakdown because I lost everything.
