Japanese - I'm not an anime or video game nerd much anymore, but I know some basics to the point I figure I would give this a shot. (I know Hiragana and Katakana) ... It was something I wanted to learn in my weeb phase, so I guess it is kind of a bucket list idea, but I think learning a language so different from English would just be awesome, especially with Asian characters of some sort.

Modern Political Thoughts - Really loving the essence these courses are giving except MPT. As a reading-impaired person, this is going to be rough on the text and already scares the Hell out of me. My instructor's first language is Spanish. Second is French. Third is English, so he's really hard to understand. He speaks softly too, which makes things worse. I mean, I feel he and I have a sort of connection though because he DID introduce himself as a queer person too, so I feel like there's that "we are of the same kinda" connection where he really wants to help me through this. Still going to be a Hell course.

Boston Coop and Conflict - I'm loving this. I love my city and I love learning about it. The instructor is an older lady who worked under Senator Ed Markey and she's got a super cool personality. She's going to keep us all laughing. While it is a 300 course, she teaches a LOT of 50 people classes, so with all that paper-load, she promised she doesn't expect lengthy papers, yay!

Public Policy - Same instructor as BCaC, so already off to a great start. Pretty much the same schpeal (or whatever), so I feel good about the class. She called my name out and said she "loved my name" in the previous class, so when she called me again in this one, she was like "I remember people easier with names I like", which was nice. I can tell she's going to be one of my favorite instructors at this college.

Crime Statistics - This instructor reminded me of Yolandi Visser from Die Antwoord kinda, but not as well..... crazy-looking? She even had a ridiculously high pitched voice. She started to scare me when she was talking about the class and the math essentials, but I was relieved when she said you'd need to know addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at best. Everyone was eased.

All in all, I think this could turn out just swell. In a sense, I like all of my instructors, but we will see.

How about you all?

what is your major? those classes are whack lol. I never took anything like that in college
