Lack of real problems that require a country's effort I think racism is an issue, but no where to the point the media makes it out to be. I have a feeling that the millennial generation will be the one to really get a handle on it- if the narrative changes from how it's improving over why we're all awful. Even in the mild south, I don't see racism to a point where it'd really hold a person back. Usually if someone is racist, they get ganged up on. I've also seen a lot of the older racist guys in power starting to retire and losing influence.
