That does sound more like a cleric or monk thing than a bard thing Yeah, there's actually a Monk monastic tradition that works perfectly with the story. Plus there's this option I can take where I get 10% more xp & gold, but I have to roll 15+ on death saves. So that Monk tradition would work well there, or be a Cleric and focus on defense. --- ...
