I felt very uncomfortable watching Jake Gyllenhaal's do the things he was doing, but was captivated at the same time. Almost felt like I was spying on a despicable human being, and was being tainted just by observing. The second half of Martyrs was kind of disturbing to watch. Went a completely different direction from what I was expecting, and felt a little uneasy when you realize what a hopeless situation the protagonist is stuck in. --- The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes.
