the US has been investing in alt energy for the last decade heavily and we still get criticized for our lack of action toward climate change (yes a lot has been reversed thanks to trump but it's still going strong)

then China comes out of no where and starts doing this shit, makes a big public statement with "largest solar farm can power 50000 homes wow" and everyone thinks they're saints?

China has done FAR MORE to the environment than most developed countries. Their disregard for humanity and the environment has done irreparable damage to our atmosphere.

AND even if I was just singling China out for something every nation has done, how does that make what I said offensive?
I didn't imply that it was inherently a chinese thing to do, to disregard the environment, it couldn't be racist
