Well, I mean if you have friends that you hang out with and socialize with, you can move through social circles and at least actually have a chance to attract a girl. If you don't put any effort forth in showing yourself (because why would a girl show interest in someone they don't know unless they're shallow and only interest in looks) or making yourself presentable/noticeable, you need to be working on yourself before being worried about a relationship. Women aren't looking for social newbies or students for the most part. Get a grasp on yourself first.
