apart from domesticated farm animals used for everyday food consumption (cows, chickens, fish etc.) and bloody insect pests, it sure seems like it.
The more advanced humanity progresses, the more humans grow and the more humans demand, the faster comes the extinction of the diversity of animal species.

Till the point where there's no biodiversity left. By then it'd be too late. And it's funny how most people still don't give a s****
