As an aside, the AI for the Alien adapting to your distractions is really good. I remember trying to test out its learning on the hardest difficulty. I dropped a noisemaker and then immediately hid in a nearby locker. The Alien jumped out of a vent, slowly approached the device, stared at it with a sort of puzzled look for about 3 seconds, took a glance around, and then ran off back into the vent. Dropped a second noisemaker in the same spot and hid in the locker again. This time, the Alien approached it and only glanced for a split second, then began patrolling the area and looking behind desks and such to see where it came from. It stopped in front of the locker I was in for a couple of seconds, but didn't detect me. It eventually retreated back into the ceiling again. Dropped the noisemaker a third time. This time the alien jumped out of the vent, immediately came to the locker I was hiding in, pulled me out and killed me. --- - The Admiral ... Copied to Clipboard! |
