Back in the day (high school/early twenties) everybody pretty much knew everyone else so showing up to a party on your own wasn't an issue. Do you think anybody you know will be there? Even if not, and depending on your mood, you should consider going. So maybe show up for an hour and see if you get a good vibe or find someone to pair up with.
