It's to keep them from crying and sometimes ends up killing the baby and the woman will still carry that baby all day. It was truly one of the most depressing places I've ever been. The average Cambodians are great but due to corruption and poverty gangs are allowed to act with impunity. Kids are used by gangs to try and swindle soft hearted foreigners. They have agreements with shop owners where a tourist will buy a product (usually powdered milk for babies) and after they leave, the gangs will sell it back to the shop. Siam Reap is the kids. Phonm Penh is land mine victims with their faces melted off begging for money while you try and enjoy your meal. --- How can one person post so much stupid s***? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
