| Monistic_Turtle 09/01/17 1:57:50 AM #25: | Given that they had hours and hours of great source material to draw from, I knew it was going to be a large undertaking to make a movie that would appease fans of the anime and/or manga. Overall, it was pretty bad, but I feel like they did a decent job condensing things down to fit the time constraints of a movie. I kinda liked what they did with L (although I do think they made him a little overly emotional towards the end). Light was kinda terrible. The actor seemed very uh... amateurish? And wtf was that music selection for the ferris wheel scene? Woof. I mean, I wouldn't watch it again but... it could have been worse.
