Topic | Is grad school the new college? |
DevsBro 08/31/17 10:14:30 PM #9: | I do, yes. Two years' experience is about comparable to a master's. But the question is how you get that experience. I lucked out and got found by a company that decided it would be a hoot to hire some greenhorns and see how that worked out becase hey what's the risk when you barely have to pay them? I guess in the end we reinforced the lack of faith in bachelor's since only one of the five of us ended up staying more than a year and a few months. I guess that's the risk when you barely pay your noobs. Though I actually quit because I got a new manager who demanded more hours for same pay. Like I said, though, I lucked out. My classmates mostly went begrudgingly to grad school when they couldn't get hired. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
