let's put ourselves in check and realize that we imprision more citizens than any other first world nation. probably any nation period, lol.

let's not be so "punishment" minded. most people are locked up for silly things and for ridiculous amounts of time. the average person is scared and learned their lesson before the verdict is even given, lol. you'll be surprised how many Americans have been in jail at least once. once is typically all it takes.

I agree with this verdict and hopefully she'll be eligible for appeal after a couple years. she likely won't be fucking around like this again, lolololol.

seriously though, I think we gotta stop this culture of WANTING to see people locked up so much, though. especially out of obvious spite.
