Topic	Season 7 Game of Thrones ... Best season in television history? Spoilers

We're in that awkward period where it's not quite the climax and we've had characters built up for years. Killing them off now would feel like a waste. I meant specifically towards GRRM writing the two books. I wholeheartedly believe he has no qualms killing people off even though it hurts. He just understands the gritty nature of the world he built. To be honest I don't see a lot of the popular show chars living as long as they have here.
