Give me your hot take. My hot take is that I don't think a black Batman would work. I think Bruce coming from upper crust white Gotham is an important contrast to demonstrate the creature comforts he's eschewing in his endless quest for justice. I suppose there could be a black Batman after Bruce that he passes the mantle to. Maybe something there.
