I also played to "catch em all" that was my goal. its also why I quit the series became too much of a hassle to catch em all That's why I said the multiplayer is the only relevant mode; at least for grown-ups. Back when I used to play RBY/GSC it was all about beating the E4. Ever since 4th gen, competitive multiplayer is what the game's all about.
