As far as .223 goes, I've also looked at the Ruger Mini 14 which is really nice too.$500-600 generally. Colt would be a better investment especially if you want an all in one rifle, but youre looking at a higher price tag for a good one. Mini-14's are much improved then what they used to be and are nice rifles, but the magazines are atrociously expensive, you have less aftermarket options and accessories and they tend to be more expensive than what you can find a good AR for now. --- Currently playing: Forza Horizon 3 - Dead Rising - Hitman ...
