| Gheb 08/27/17 9:43:05 AM #24: | The Throne currently belongs to The Baratheon line through right of conquest (yes Bobby B tried to use his distant Targ blood to strengthen his claim, but if he as actually going with hereditary succession Viserys would have been king). This means that neither Dany or Jon have a claim to the throne without conquest. That said it's hard to point to Cersei's claim right now, as there are no Baratheons left. She's Queen now because she took it and no one really has the power to challenge her. Technically she is still ruling as a Baratheon, so if she were to legitimize Gendry he'd be king.
