You'll be doomed to be swayed by the media in this respect as they will constantly try to put his policies in the worst possible light in order to make his m"messaging" look bad. Case-in-point: Obama enacted a similar travel ban in 2013. No one cared. But when Trump does the same thing to countries that Obama specifically outlined as being hotbeds for terrorism, suddenly the "messaging" was bad.
