A Kindle. Multiple hardware issues, no money to replace and honestly, the laptop wasn't worth saving. It was junk even before it became unusable.
Do you have Amazon Prime? During Prime day this year the Fire 8's were like $60, obviously you'd have to wait until next year but still.
My laptop is what needs replacing... :(

Getting attached to someone isn't wrong, but you should be reasonably sure that it probably won't come back to bite you...
Setting expectations low is key. Dont expect much of people and not expecting them to stick around long term. Those changes in thinking have helped a lot. ---
