A 22 can be used in a violent crime? NO WAI! Says nothing about homicides. People use toy guns as well to commit violent crimes so this study you posted makes it a moot point.

Sure, .22LR has resulted in some deaths. But that's likely because there are so many .22LR weapons around, not because .22LR rounds are more lethal (also probably why the second most "dangerous" round is 9mm). Criminals are likely to have ready access to .22LR than other rounds, and so they use it.


So are you saying if a criminal is shooting at you with .22 rounds, you will not duck and cover cause they will most likely not kill you?
