Ryuk says no one has managed to write his name in the book, then who wrote the warning not to trust him? It mentioned him specifically by name in the death note itself.
I imagine the idea is that no one's written his name with the intent to kill him.

I would guess that whatever he wrote was conditional. "If Mia takes the Death Note, she will die in this way." Dunno if this would work in the anime, but let's just assume it does in the movie. ---
