Tell me, did you move into an apartment before any guarantee of a tangible income? I had a decent income when I moved in. But I was fired, and I've been working in a deli for over a year. It was fine for a little while, and this job was supposed to hire after my first interview nearly three months ago. Then the contract I was supposed to go on pulled out, then I went in for another interview, told me I was hired, then I filled out a 15 page background check that they said would take a week...it took a month.
