Yes.... so it would be like the entire planet had a cold snap all at the same time. Still not a huge deal.

I mean, if this went on for a year or longer, I could definitely see it being a catastrophic extinction event. And while 15 days without sunlight certainly wouldn't be good for the planet and would result in an elevated level of death and destruction, I would be very surprised if it reached the level where entire species were going extinct.
