Math has a female-dominated teaching job at the end of it

Grade school math teaching is apparently around 50/50 so that doesn't make much sense either. Also, you don't need any math degrees to teach math. Any degree works, you just get a bonus for having a master/phd I think.

I mean there's clearly reasons that women don't continue from math in college into phds and industry and such, same with other sciences. But my point is, why is that effect only realized at the post-college level for math/sciences, but for CS specifically it is realized pre-college down to like elementary school? There's clearly something else there.

The rest of your post is non-science. As far as I know, women went out into the wilderness all the time and continued to be leaders in family survival for a long time, but I'm not anthropologist.

But you're right, there's so much early-stage nurture and stereotyping that force kids into certain boxes, for no reason. It's a very easy place to start changing things, but there's always lots of resistance, also for no reason.
