Is that phrase really perceived to be offensive? It's a factual statement that relies on the superficial, aka a label about race. It's like calling me melanin-abundant.
Wow kineth, I would have thought the guy who can find subtle racism in almost everything he reads when it suits his narative would realize that calling someone "deficient" has negative conotations. I guess you just don't understand of the nuances of the English language as well as I thought you did.
I have a fucking biochemistry degree and don't view the phrase of being deficient in a protein being expressed as being a "bad thing". That's fucking molecular genetics and a literal explanation of differences in skin tones.
