Intentionally stopping and accidentally stopping are different things. Can you imagine you're trapped in the back of an ambulance dying because the roads blocked. Or you lose your job because you couldn't make it in. Or you're short food or rent because you missed hours.
The only one of those that's a legit counterargument is the life and death situation with the ambulance. If the city was aware of the demonstration beforehand as dispatch would likely have been getting 911 calls about it, the dispatch would give them an alternate route. If your job is on the line based on one late start to your shift, you probably should have not been routinely showing up late to work. If you needed to get the fucking rent check in, why are you waiting til the last fucking minute to do it? And are you really suggesting that people are gonna starve to death in traffic?

I also wasn't condoning vehicular manslaughter. I think all these pieces of crap should be thrown in prison and the streets allowed to move freely but if cops aren't gonna do there jobs for fear of backlash I don't think the citizenry should have to be held hostage by a few terrorists and should do what they have to do.
