I hate him because he's a whiny daddy's boy and He's the ghost of a long dead city or some shit like that
i'm still confused on that maybe someone else can clarify where they people that actually existed at one point or are the all from a dream world bahamut created. and I know the city existed in the real world, but doesn't mean his dream world didn't include it
the dream was an imitation of the real city that became its own world. He wasn't based on anyone but looked similar to that one guy in x-2. Everybody in the city was born, etc, etc. They were just originally dreams. ---
