Topic	Is it true that GoT gets bad once they pass up the books?

And when most people got into the books they assumed there'd be an ending. Some still cling to that hope, true. Also this. I got in late, at the release of ADWD. That was still 2012. Some people have been following since the 90's... I hear people all the time say it's overrated and blah blah and it might be true but I'll be honest I haven't read another book series like it. On topic: I don't like a lot of changes or omissions but like others have said it's still one of the best shows on television by a long shot and it's very entertaining for what it is. I'm glad they deviated on the slight chance we really do get the last two books. The show butchered Jamie though.
