If you haven't gotten a job with your degree in three years, the problem isn't them

You are right. I have been having issues with depression, anxiety, etc that has kept me scared to do much of anything. Luckily I have been going to church and I have gotten way better. I just wish I started going to church years ago but I was too stubborn.

I started applying again recently since I have recovered a lot so I've been doing that. But the last interview I had was 1 year and 6 months ago. Does anyone know about job programs for tech workers that target people with mental illness for job training? I've never taken medicine or gone to the doctor for it so I have no proof, but maybe they will take me

I have no experience trying to get a programming job, but programming is a field where an experienced employee is *astronomically* more valuable than an inexperienced one, and in fact an inexperienced employee can be almost purely detrimental. so all you tend to see are Senior level jobs with few to zero junior or intermediate positions.

the main thing to do is try to become the best programmer you can be in your spare time. you don't need a job to become great at programming, you just need to program.

probably means 8+ years programming experience with experience in Swift

The thing is, I'm not even looking for programming...

I'm looking for Help Desk as an entry level position, not even a high tier, just the basic stuff.
