Topic	Literally a new Game of Thrones episode today and no topicspoilers

It made the White Walker army look pretty pathetic just standing around and staring. Not one of them had a ranged weapon? Who knows how long they were waiting for no reason. The set-up would have worked better if they were hiding behind enemy lines barely surviving or something. Like another poster earlier said, the only way that scene made any sense is if the night king knew dany would come (somehow) so he can use a dragon if it's not that, honestly the writers are just lost at this point and don't care about making sense Maybe. But yet they didn't figure out they could cross the ice until the Hound threw a rock which made them look pretty dumb and simple minded. I suppose he could have powers like Bran but I have no idea what they would do with that considering he just seems to be an evil zombie king man. You could maybe argue the Night King was just waiting out Jon and crew, figuring they'd freeze to death and he wouldn't lose any more of his undead army.
