It does that to me too, but sometimes the joke actually stretches over the article and gets funnier like this one http://www.theonion.com/article/10-year-old-wishes-unemployed-father-couldnt-make--32220? Every line is pretty much what you'd expect from a kid talking about exactly the opposite in the same manner and it's hilarious to me. Also the little things like "the kid told reporters before the match" as if reporters would interview a kid about this lmao.
