Until the great liberal loss anyway. I think it's less about the liberal loss and more about the divisive, rotten personality of Donald Trump. People didn't lose their minds when Bush was elected, not even for the 2nd time. We may have thought he was stupid, but we didn't think he was actively trying to harm people, and he still acted like an adult. People wouldn't have rioted over Romney or McCain either. Trump has inspired nearly all of this with his reprehensible, childish behavior. BAMN and Antifa were never this popular to the uneducated young as they are now. Neither were white nationalist and Neo Nazi groups, until now. That is true, but the media is lumping any who stand up for free speech or the destruction of monuments as white nationalist or nazis. Why not label any and all counter protester as apart of BAMN or Antifa.
