Yikes, I didn't realize how much he gets regularly, and that's with him not uploading anything for almost a year. I will have to say though, even though Youtubers may be horrifically overpaid, it takes tons of effort and sometimes luck to even get to that point. Not everyone can just start a Youtube channel and make money within a couple months of starting, so I'd say it balances out.
If they are making more than heart surgeons, then they are horrifically overpaid.
They get paid based on metrics not your insipid sense of value.
They get paid based on bullshit metrics similar to the race for "eyeballs" during the dotcom bubble. We all know how that turned out.
YouTube's metrics are not public knowledge. You're talking out of your ass. ---
